Zahra Omar
Dr Zahra Omar has been practicing dentistry since 2010.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in French literature from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Dr Omar is a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, which has the prestige of being the birth place of the dental degree (the doctorate of dental surgery) and one of the most advanced dental education facilities in the USA.
After completing her dental degree she moved north to NYC to further her dental education at Montefiore Medical Center for a general practice residency.
Dr Omar is a New York dentist that is proficient in all phases of dentistry including root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, extractions and prosthodontics . She has experience working in both private practice and in non profit community based dentistry, where she has helped adults and children improve their smile, increase their self confidence and of course maintain healthy oral hygiene.
In her spare time Dr Omar enjoys volunteering with various NYC organizations, checking out modern art and looking for the best bagels in the city!
